Josianne Cutajar

Josianne Cutajar was elected as the youngest and first Gozitan Member to represent Malta in the European Parliament in 2019, following 7 years of service as a Local Councillor in her home village of Nadur.
A lawyer by profession, MEP Cutajar is a firm believer in a Social and Inclusive Europe that leaves no one behind. Be it in her work as the ITRE Gender Mainstreaming Rapporteur within the European Parliament or through her constant efforts for digital inclusivity, including as S&D negotiator for the Digital Decade Programme.
MEP Cutajar also advocated for strenghtened gender mainstreaming in her work as the Socialist Negotiator for the European Parliament’s Report on the gender dimension in cohesion policy.
