Omar Triki
Program Director for the Fondation Tunisie pour le Développement
Omar Triki has been a program director for the “Fondation Tunisie pour le Développement” since August 2018. He is responsible for managing several programs of the foundation focusing mainly on the social and economic development of Tunisia.
Omar is the lead of the ELIFE program, a project aiming to build 10 techno-hubs dedicated to marginalized Tunisian youth in the interior region of Tunisia. Launched in 2018 and with 5 operational hubs as of today, the program impacted 25 000 youth by proposing trainings and placement, incubation and exposure to cultural events in the different geographical areas targeted by the program.
Prior to this role, Omar held several executive positions in the IT industry (Capgemini, Sopra HR) and managed several international projects with focus on quality, overall efficiency and business profitability.
Omar speaks fluent English, Arabic, French and Spanish and has over 25 years of international experience (USA, Mexico, France, UK, Croatia, etc.)
He is a graduate of the “Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications de Paris” and has an Executive MBA from the Mediterranean School of Business and a Master in Development Economics from Université de Clermont Auvergne.
